Health
The main responsibility of the nation’s healthcare institutions is the development of proficient nurses. In Bangladesh, the ratio of skilled nurses to doctors is disproportionately low. Hence, the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has taken a proactive measure by establishing private nursing colleges to bring nursing education to the forefront of accessibility.
In alignment with this strategic initiative, the Saic Group has established nursing colleges in six district cities across the country. These colleges offer a spectrum of nursing programs, including Diploma in Midwifery, Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, and B.Sc in Nursing (Basic) under Dhaka University and Rajshahi University, all sanctioned by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council. Furthermore, they have introduced post-basic courses and inaugurated the M.Sc in Nursing program.
In essence, the elevation of healthcare quality hinges on the presence of skilled nurses. Thus, the Saic Group tirelessly endeavours to translate the government’s pragmatic decision into reality by delivering top-notch nursing education.
